Rob’s presentation will share with you how the Albion Foundation has been able to use the medium of football and the kudos of West Bromwich Albion Football Club to develop innovative community projects that are respected both locally and nationally.
He will share some of the financial challenges the Foundation has faced over the last few years, the strategies and tactics applied to sustain and continue to grow in difficult times and some of the lessons learnt from his time at Middlesbrough Football Club.

Rob has been Director of The Albion Foundation since 2008, overseeing the continued growth and development of the Foundation. In the last 4 years it has doubled its turnover and the staffing to 37 full time staff, 52 part-time staff and over 50 volunteers. Previously Rob was at Middlesbrough in the Community where he grew their project from 3 to 53 full-time staff.
