Moseley Rugby Club and Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice link up for Rugby Ramble

Rugby ramble

Rugby Ramble is a brand new event for Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice.

On Saturday 3rd October they are organising for a challenging 10 mile walk from the Hospice in Selly Park, Birmingha to Moseley Rugby Club, our host venue for the England v Australia Rugby World Cup match.

This promises to be a great day out for all rugby fans and supporters of the Hospice.

The Walk All participants will meet at Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice, Selly Park at 2.30pm for registration and pre-walk tea & coffee.

The 10 mile walk will start at 3.30pm and they expect everyone to arrive at the Rugby Club by 7.00pm. You can walk as an individual or with friends, family or workmates.

Pie & Pint After you’ve walked 10 miles you’ll have earned a well-deserved FREE pie and a pint (for over 18’s only, soft drinks also to be made available).

There will be a cash bar available for further refreshments.

The Rugby In the brand new Moseley Rugby Club Clubhouse you can enjoy the England v Australia match on a number of big screens (KO at 8pm). Soak up the atmosphere with your fellow walkers and local rugby fans and cheer on the boys in their third World Cup game.

Fundraising

The Rugby Ramble is a sponsored event. There is no minimum sponsorship target, but we do ask that you fundraise as much as you can. The Hospice Fundraising Team will be on hand to help you with fundraising ideas, tips and advice.
